If you come from outside the city by car, you can enter Vitoria-Gasteiz through the neighbourhoods Lakua, Arana-Salburua, Gamarra or Zabalgana-Armentia via the A1. All these exits will take you to the centre. The best option to access the Hotel Ruta de Europa (included in the Tourist Pack for hot air balloon pilots) is via the A1 or N1 motorway.
On October 7, there will be a reception for all the hot air balloon pilots in which the authorities will take part. This will be held in the Palacio Villasuso, located in the centre, in the medieval quarter of the city.
